Residence Podere Monte Sixeri, Alghero (Sardinia)
August 28 – September 4, 2016 | 6 days / 7 nights
For six days and seven nights you will be immersed in the beautiful setting of Podere Monte Sixeri, sharing the rustic-furnished, fully-equipped Villa Ulivo with exclusive swimming pool and garden, with 8-9 other people. During our Purna Yoga and Imaginal Mindfulness Retreat you will be offered a rare opportunity to purify and reinvigorate your body, mind, and soul through an integrated program of yoga classes (including Hatha and Purna Yoga practices), Imaginal Mindfulness (a meditation that merges Buddhist Theravada Vipassana practices with James Hillman’s archetypical imaginal psychology), Ayurveda massages and treatments and vegetarian food with two professional trainers. Since the retreat will involve a small number of people, the instructors will guarantee you close supervision, utmost attention, care and supervision. Aside from digging into yoga and meditation in the morning, afternoon and evening sessions, you will also have the chance to have fun by exploring the surrounding countryside, sun-bathing and swimming on white-sand and blue water beaches, visiting the nearby archaeological sites (Nuraghe Palma Vera; Anghelu Ruju Necropolis) and the splendid city of Alghero, the Catalan jewel of Sardinia.
